May ISM-PMI Economy Expanding, Manufacturing Still Contracting
The MAY ISM PMI indicates that the overall economy grew very slightly following contraction in April; Manufacturing sector contracted for third consecutive month. We remain guardedly optimistic that the economy itself is healthy, but these external shocks have it temporarily ailing.
